About ITGC Founder, Sarah Irwin
ITGC began while Sarah was building the in-house legal function at Tines, Ireland’s latest unicorn. Joining as the company’s first legal hire post-Series B, she was immersed in the world of legal, tech, automation and scaling at speed.
It was there that she realised, in her own words, that it was time to “turn my love of legal, tech, automation and founders into something of my own.”
Noticing the lack of a peer network for innovative in-house lawyers in Ireland, Sarah created one herself — a space where legal professionals could connect, share experiences and challenge outdated perceptions of the in-house role.
What started as a small community has grown into what ITGC is today: a global community and consultancy for forward-thinking in-house legal teams supporting some of the world’s most exciting companies from the inside.
Alongside ITGC, Sarah works with some of the most dynamic scaling legal tech founders, helping them grow their brands and generate leads with their ideal customer profiles through her media business.
“Being Irish and based here has always been part of my story,” Sarah says. “I’m proud that what started as a small idea in Dublin has become something that connects legal professionals all over the world. Having recently announced as one of the top 100 women in Irish Tech: Legal really shows how far I have come.”
