Travel tech company Holafly is seeking a talented Commercial Lawyer to join its dynamic legal team in Ireland! 🚀

During a trip to Thailand, Pedro and Lidia, the founders of Holafly, experienced the frustration of not having an internet connection. Inspired by their own experiences, they came up with a simple but brilliant idea: why not allow travellers to buy data plans for any destination from their home country?

Today they are a global company, scaling fast, and need an excellent commercial lawyer to join our team and support business growth from the inside. The role will report to Holafly’s forward-thinking Head of Legal, who is based in Ireland.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 🚀

1. Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, marketing, service, IP licensing, technology contracts). Provide legal support for strategic partnerships and business development.

2. Technology & Telecommunications Legal Support: Advise on technology, consumer, and telecommunications regulatory matters. Support product development and review tech/telco supplier/vendor agreements.

3. General Commercial & Strategic Legal Support: Provide day-to-day legal advice. Support corporate governance, compliance, and risk management. Contribute to strategic business decisions and international expansion.
   

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU ⚒️

1. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified solicitor or barrister in Ireland with 4-5 years PQE. Extensive experience in commercial contract law and negotiations, with a proven track record drafting and negotiating key agreements (NDAs, MSAs, marketing, service, IP).

2. Skills & Competencies: Excellent written/verbal communication, strong analytical/problem-solving abilities, commercial acumen, business-focused approach, and ability to work independently.

3. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial contract principles, intellectual property law, and data protection/privacy regulations.

NICE-TO-HAVE 💫

Previous experience in the technology sector, telecommunications/connectivity services, international contract negotiations, knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks, or experience in high-growth/start-up environments.
