Dublin GC Dinner, March 2026

Not your typical legal event

A private dinner bringing together some of Europe’s most forward-thinking in-house legal leaders.

No name badges, no panels, no one waiting their turn to speak.

Just a carefully curated group of General Counsel, Heads of Legal and senior legal operations leaders, brought together for an evening that felt more like a private dinner party than a networking event.

The venue set the tone straight away, Lena in Portobello, Dublin. Relaxed, stylish, and thoughtfully chosen. Good wine, great food, and the kind of setting that makes people want to stay, talk and engage.

One guest summed it up perfectly:

“A truly inspiring group and I went home feeling great not only because of the lovely wine and food but also because of very good discussions and conversations.”

At its core, each ITGC dinner is a private networking experience with both social and intellectual value, designed to connect forward-thinking in-house legal leaders across Europe.

The Evening

Every ITGC dinner is designed to feel personal, from the moment guests arrive.

The evening began with a champagne reception, giving people time to settle in and connect naturally before sitting down.

Dinner followed, with conversation quickly moving beyond introductions into what people are actually dealing with, AI, pressure from the business, how legal teams are evolving, what’s working and what isn’t.

By the time the roundtable began, the room was fully engaged.

“The event was excellent, really well facilitated by Sarah, the roundtable discussion was the most energising aspect. Very strong mix of professionals in attendance.”

With around 15 to 20 people in the room, it stayed open, honest and easy to contribute.

What stood out most was the energy.

The room was loud, in the best way, conversations overlapping, people leaning in, properly engaged.

“Sarah thank you from the bottom of the heart. You are an amazing person. What you organise is incredible. Such a fabulous evening.”

It felt relaxed, considered, and genuinely enjoyable, something that doesn’t happen by accident.

Why it works

These dinners are curated and hosted by Sarah Irwin, a former General Counsel who understands exactly what it takes to get the most out of a room like this.

Guests are carefully selected, the environment is intentionally shaped, and the conversation is guided in a way that allows people to open up quickly and speak honestly.

It’s often described as classy but down to earth, and that balance is what makes it work.

More than just Dublin

This was one evening in Dublin, but ITGC dinners take place across Europe, including London, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Madrid.

Each one follows the same approach, curated guest lists, carefully chosen venues, and a focus on both social and intellectual value.

If you were in the room

You’d have left feeling energised, better connected, and probably a little bit spoilt.
